Fold the paper in half from left to right, making sure the fold is inwards. Tape up the sides of the bag, not the top yet. Fold the bag over at the bottom to create a flat base. Then use a piece of large wrapping paper and folded in half width wise. Slip the handles between the folded paper, letting the handles hang out the back. Then, tape shut the two sides of the bag (you can tie up the handles so they’re not flying around). Flip the top edge back for a clean finish. Now fold the paper in half widthwise and tape the two sides together. Fold bottom of bag over to make a flat bottom. Fold down the top edge once more for a nice finished appearance like I did. And you can also punch holes near the top and run a ribbon through for a nice closure. Your DIY gift bag is finished.
